Why it works

The benefits of a garden gym rooms

  • Train when it suits you

Early mornings, late evenings or a lunchtime session. No travel, no membership and no waiting for equipment.

  • Your equipment, your layout

Set up the rack, bike, rower or mats the way you like them, and leave them ready for next time.

  • Fresh air on hand

Open the doors and windows and train with the garden just outside.

  • Keep the house clear

Move bulky kit out of the spare room or garage and give the space back to the household.

Practical considerations

Things to think about

A few points we'll talk through with you. Every garden is different, so the details of your project are agreed in your quotation.

  • Equipment loads and flooring

Not every standard floor is suitable for heavy gym equipment. Tell us what you plan to use, including racks, free weights and machines, so we can discuss the floor and base for your project before you order.

  • Floor finish

Commercial vinyl flooring is an optional upgrade that gives a hard-wearing, easy-to-clean surface. We'll talk through what suits your training.

  • Height and clearance

Ceiling heights vary between models. If you plan overhead lifts, skipping or a tall rack, ask us to check before you choose a building, or come and see the display models.

  • Air and temperature

Opening windows and doors help in summer. Climate control is an optional upgrade if you'll train in the room year-round.

Discuss Your Project

Your questions

Frequently asked

Will the floor take my equipment?

It depends on the equipment and the floor specification. Please give us details of the heaviest items, and we'll discuss the floor, the base and any flooring upgrade as part of your quotation. We won't assume a standard floor is suitable for heavy equipment.

Do you supply gym equipment or mats?

No. Equipment, mats and mirrors aren't included. We supply and install the building and any upgrades you choose.

Can I run a treadmill or bike?

The Platinum electrical package includes four double sockets. Tell us what you'll plug in and where, so we can discuss whether the standard layout suits your equipment. The mains (SWA) connection is quoted individually.

How do I keep it cool?

Ventilation from opening doors and windows is a good start. Climate control is available as an optional upgrade if you want heating and cooling.
